Jim, John and families. I'm so sorry to hear of Cindy's passing. She was such a joy. I have many memories of her playing our neighborhood sports on the old WI practice field when we were all young. We always wanted her on our pickup teams. She always made me smile and laugh --- always greeting me with "hey Dave" and a smile. I'm glad I could call her my friend for all these years.

You left a spot in everybody's heart full of love for you. I can't imagine my life without you after 23 years so I need you to watch over me. I love you so much Cindy. I miss you desperately. I never thought when you left this house September 2nd that you would never return home. I love you with all my heart and soul and after reading all the comments people in this town have left about you, they will so sadly miss you too. I want to thank everybody for all the nice things you have said about my Cindy and all the out pouring of love you all have for her. God bless all of you. We all together in this town are so heartbroken over this.

As a cops kid & grandkid, I grew up at the police station on Pike & 3rd. I got to know Cindy when I was grade school age. She was always super friendly and caring toward me. She never copped an attitude (pun intended). And even after she retired she’d always go out of her way to say hi, and so would I. Her eyes would light up when she’d speak to me! One of the nicest and toughest cops on the force. She is missed.

What a thrill to play and watch her play basket ball for First Methodist Church. She was also sooooo very good at softball. A true athlete. Rest in Peace my Friend.

Cindy was such a wonderful person. I have so many memories of her when we were younger. She was my hero in high school when I was bullied by another young woman. Cindy stepped in every time this young woman would start her bullying tactics on me. Many times I couldn't even figure out how Cindy knew what was happening to be there at the right time and the right place. I enjoyed renewing our friendship when I moved back to Clarksburg and she was able to help me tell my husband what the old Clarksburg was like. I always felt she should have been in the WNBA. She would have made a wonderful and inspiring player for so many young women. Cindy, you will be greatly missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Gallo Family during this difficult time.

Cindy was a great person. Had a lot of laughs with her at Rich Oil and when she would deliver food to my office when she worked at Chunkies. Prayers of comfort to her family and friends. Rest in Peace Cindy.

Cindy, I am not sure if you knew just how much you inspired the young girls in the County. You broke that glass ceiling and gave as good as you got. We all looked up to you and that is probably the best anyone can say about another person. You lived, served, protected and inspired. Thank you.

Prayers going out to the family. Met Cindy when I was working at the CPD, and enjoyed her professionalism and compassion for her career. Another dear friend gone too soon. RIP Cindy.

You blazed a trail that I followed. Though we wore different badges, these two Cindys busted through the limits others tried to set for us. If there are cold ones in heaven, have one on me.

I am sorry to hear about the death of Cindy. She was a very athletic person. I remember her playing basketball and softball. She was well known for her athletic abilities. I remember when she was a meter reader and later became a Clarksburg policewoman. Where ever you are I hope you are having fun

Im so sad to hear of her passing. I just had a conversation about Cindy playing basketball in her younger years with my husband. She was one of my favorite people growing up. She always looked out for us younger friends trying to keep up with her in sports. How many times I passed her old house and wondered what she had been up to and if she still lived there. Go rest high on that mountain dear. You leave behind alot of good memories
