Donna Jean Hitt, 82, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in a local nursing home.
She was born in Baltimore, MD on March 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Scott and Dorothy Davis Tanner of Sycamore Road, Clarksburg.
She was married to Earl Ray Hitt on July 9, 1957, who preceded her in death on July 30, 2012 after 54 years of marriage.
Surviving are three children, Vicki Hitt of Clarksburg, Earl Ray Hitt, Jr. and his wife Andrea of Boone, NC and Scott Hitt and his wife Stephanie of Lost Creek; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Wilson, with whom she resided in Nutter Fort.
A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Sycamore Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ron Owens officiating.
