Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, January 31, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. where Catholic Burial Rites will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Casey Mahone presiding. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Frank Mario Oliverio, 88, formerly of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in East Chicago, Indiana, on October 7, 1936, a son of the late Mario “Mutt” Olivero and the late Eleanor McKeever Lamb.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Sara Gail Rushing Oliverio on February 5, 2013.

He is survived by two sons, Frank M Oliverio II of Vero Beach FL, and Chriss Oliverio of Clarksburg; two daughters, Debra Caroli and husband Greg of Clarksburg, and Frankie Jo Spagnuolo and husband Simeon of Vero Beach FL. He was grandfather to nine grandchildren, Stacy Prescott, David Ingram, Zachary Spagnuolo, Alec Spagnuolo, Frank Oliverio III, Tiana Lane, Erica Jensen, Jonathan Oliverio, and Willow Oliverio Ormsbee. Also surviving are half-brothers, Mario Oliverio and wife Angela, Paul Oliverio and wife Melinda and half-sister, Rose Ann Oliverio.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter Gina Oliverio Barth; two grandchildren, Michelle McNemar and Michael McNemar; his brother, Frederic Oliverio and half-sister, Concetta Oliverio.

Frank was the owner of Frank’s Furniture, retiring after 50 years of being in business.

He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and a member of the Colombian Club. He loved traveling and was an avid WVU Fan.
