Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. where the service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation with Pastor Robert Shingleton presiding. Honoring Mr. Rorick’s request, he will be cremated following the service. His cremains will be taken to St. Joseph Cemetery in Johnstown, Ohio, and laid to rest next to his wife Kay.

Lanny R. Rorick, age 82, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2019, at the United Hospital Center.
He was born in Iberia, OH, on April 22, 1936, a son of the late Ralph and Dorothy Quesenberry Rorick.
Lanny was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Frances Beal Rorick, on January 14, 2016.
Surviving are two sons, Kelly Rorick and wife Debi of Clarksburg, and Mike Kunkle of Bowie, MD; six grandchildren, Sean Kunkle, Chris Kunkle, Kristin Haritan and husband John, Sydnie Barker and husband Zane, Cherra Taylor and husband Chad, and Joshua Richards and wife Brandy; and six great grandchildren, Tavares Richards, Trinity Richards, Blu Barker, Veida Barker Delilah Kay Barker, and Prim Rose Barker.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Rorick, and sister Glenna South.
Mr. Rorick was retired after 50 years of service as a Construction Superintendent with S.J. Groves and Lang Brothers. He attended Jewel City Church.
