Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Kelley officiating. Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Mary Long, beloved mother to 6 children, 83, of Stonewood WV, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at UHC, leaving a void her family cannot fill.
She was born in Clarksburg on June 20, 1941, a daughter of the late Roland Hennings and Wanda Furrold McClain Hennings.
Mary was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She provided love, and support to everyone.
Surviving are 4 children, Michelle Queen, Christa Burrows, Cheryl (Swiger) Prosowski her husband Bobby, and Kathy Benkalowycz and her husband Roman; her grandchildren Brian Bailey, Stephanie Abrams and her husband Phillip, Zachary Queen, Gilley Burrows and his wife Madison, Savanna Swiger, Seth Swiger, Sara Swiger, Micheal Odom Jr., Roland Odom, Mary Odom, Peter Benkalowycz and his wife Sarah, Lisa Haun and her husband Jeremy, and Lynette Perry and her husband Scott; her great grandchildren Brayden and Brody Queen, Ciara, Paxton, Aubriegh, and Leighton Burrows, Stanley Swiger. Taylor Lambert, Charles Yocco, Alex, Colin, Catherine, and Lyra Odom, Roland, Lela, and Noel Odom. Roger Odom, Christa McGary, Rodney Goff, Collin Pultz, Hanna, Amy, Milo, and Linus Benkalowycz, J.J, Ariel, and Wyatt Haun, and Roman and Riley Ann Perry; and two sisters, Sylvia Childers and Clista Sprouse.
Twice married, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Hansel Queen, and also her second husband, Rodney Long, Sr.
Mary was preceded in death by two children, Lela Odom, and Pamela Baily; four sons-in-law Mike Odom Sr, Brian Bailey, Stanley Gene Swiger, and Sonny Burrows; three sisters, Naomi Harbert, Wanda Kelley, and Peggy Hennings; one brother Roland Hennings, Jr; and two brothers-in-law Ronnie Sprouse and Bob Kelley.
We will never forget the love she brought to all our lives.
