Mettie was truly a kind and wonderful woman she truly was a lovely woman. She was the first to welcome us to Nutterfort when my husband and I moved there in 1999 her and Billy were always so kind to us. Then when we had our daughter in 2003 Mettie couldn't get enough of her she will be greatly missed I am in tears typing this as I just found out about her passing. Love and miss you Mettie till we meet again

Mettie was not only Johns Sister and my Sister- In -Law, she was my friend before I married her brother! We loved her so very much and I have stories of fun times together I could write a book! My Children thought she was the most wonderful Aunt! Everytime we visited Clarksburg she bought lots of Cookies!! They now say she is having cookies with GOD!! God Bless all of the Family!!

I remember while growing up we would go to the park and have the best time whether it was feeding ducks and walking around the park or going to the tennis court. I\\\'ll never forget the good times we had playing tennis and trying to aim for your butt. You didn\\\'t have to love me but love me unconditionally you did . It takes a lot of love and attention to get someone to feel like a part of the family. I never felt left out or like I was anyone but your granddaughter. I hope as I get older that I become more like you. You where the strongest women I know. You faught for strangth and put on a straight face for those you loved so that they wouldn\\\'t see the pain you were in. I love you so much and I will forever miss you. I hope to one day be as great of a mother and grandmother as you were. This isn\\\'t goodbye forever it is goodbye for now because we shall see one another again. I know that I have you looking over me and protecting me as much as you can. I love you.

Mettie was the greatest grandma to my baby and my husband. She was always there when we needed her and we always had fun at her house. Either playing uno or going to the park to play tennis. Never a dull moment went by. She will be dearly missed and we all hope to see her again someday. I Toby Ralyn and Bella love you very much and miss you so much !!! ??????????????????

My Mom was the most caring woman I\\\'ve ever met. As a kid growing up we spent time doing everything together as a family! She would ride bikes with us and take walks where we lived. Even as she got older she would go out and play tennis and badminton. She loved all her grandchildren and loved spending time with my Dad. I\\\'m going to miss her so much. She was always there for me especially when I was in the Army! She sent care packages every couple of weeks because I was homesick and she knew that would make me feel better! She has been an inspiration and a great role model! Mom I love you with all my heart and soul and I am proud to be your son! I will see you again in Heaven one day!
