Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Peggy Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Elkview Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nancy “Sue” Cain, 88, of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at her residence.
She was born in Clarksburg on January 20, 1936, a daughter of the late Blaine and Pansy Weldon Lightner.
She was married to William “Bill” Cain on May 10, 1954, who preceded her in death on October 16, 1993 after 39 years of marriage.
Surviving are four sons, Blaine Cain of Clarksburg, Terry Cain of Fairmont, Jeff Cain of Stonewood and Chuck Cain and his wife Christina of Bridgeport; three daughters, Deborah Rowh of Bridgeport, Lin Cain of Stonewood and Maggie Cain and her companion John Blackburn of Clarksburg; 13 grandchildren, Amanda (David) Buffey, Billie Jo (Jon) Cottrill, Christopher, Jordyn and Hunter Rowh, Amy and Jackie Cain, Michelle (Jeff) Pine, Brian and Jeremy Mayle, Zach Cain, Joseph (Morgan) and Candace Jo Cain; 24 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Danny (Margaret) Cain; two sisters-in-law, Sue (Richard) Rowan and Carol Nicholson; and one niece, Melissa Rowan, as well as several other nieces and one nephew.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cindy Cain; two infant grandchildren; one infant great grandchild; and one sister, Lazzelle “Dell” Lightner.
Mrs. Cain loved her family, especially her great-grandson, Lane. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
