I am so heartbroken to hear of Ms. Hartman's passing. She was an extraordinary teacher and friend. Sleep with the Angels, Dear Lady. It was my honor to have been one of your students.

Our hearts are heavy, as we mourn the loss of our beloved Liberty High School Cheerleading Coach, Ms. Hartman/Nancy. Her strength, spirit, and loyalty to our squads (1974-1978) will always be embedded in our hearts. Her commitment to “let us shine” built character & confidence and she remained our “friend” throughout our lives. She truly loved us and would show it when we were with her! She will be missed, but our shared “spirit” lives on… With love & prayers, Ruth Perri (Veach) Kim Hickman (Reaser) Pam Smallwood (Courtney)

Oh sweet Nancy 💔 She lived at the end of the street I grew up on. I always remember her coming to the door in furry high heeled house shoes & a long flowy gown to buy whatever fundraiser we were peddling, you know that was a thing in the 80s that was a thing. She was a beautiful lady and I remember thinking she was so eccentric. Sounds silly now but in my adolescent mind it seemed right. It always feels like a part of your childhood slips away when I hear of someone like her passing. Sending my prayers and thoughts to all of her family, Jodie, Gary & Becky.

The loss of a friend of many years and a classmate saddens me. I wish to send my condolences to her family and to those of us who still remember those years of long ago. Rest in Peace my friend. Bob
