Obituaries

Patricia Ann “Aunt Pat” Moore Olsen, 92, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Grafton, WV on January 4, 1932, the daughter of the late Delbert Moore and Iris McConkey Moore.
She is survived by five stepchildren: Laurie, Leanna, Glen, Steve and Daphne, her caretaker, niece, Ilene Moore Corathers and husband Les and several additional nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were three husbands; Eugene Wilkey, Joe Hansen and Derryl Olsen and being the last surviving member of eight siblings she was preceded in death by siblings, Freda Moore Green and husband Charlie, Norma Jean Moore Hyett and husband Tom, Alva Lee Moore and wife Phyllis, Mary Moore Carroll and husband Richard, James Moore, Ralph “Butch” Moore and Linda Moore and nieces and nephews; Amy Green Moore, Michael Moore, Michael Carroll and Janet Carroll Sweeney.
She was a 1949 graduate of Grafton High School and worked for nursing homes in Kansas, California and lastly in Alaska, returning home to West Virginia in 2010. She was a member of the West Milford United Methodist church, enjoyed spending time with the ladies of her church and especially shopping for clothes.
Per her wishes, cremation services were held.
