Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, December 20th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service held at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 126 E. Pike Street, Clarksburg, on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Casey Mahone as celebrant. Per his request, cremation services will follow.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and the family during this most difficult time, such a good man. Taken away to early. I met Russ shortly after I had ankle replacement surgery. Mary was my young mentor and answered all of my questions about the Dr. and the surgery. God bless and watch over this fine family.

We are sorry to hear of your loss of your loved one. We new Russ through the Harrison County Bank. He was always friendly and a good employee that took care of our needs as loyal customers of the bank. We will miss him. We give our condolences to the family and will keep you in our prayers.

Dear Mary, Brandy, Tammy and Family, I was saddened to read of the passing of Russ. He was a fine person and I always enjoyed his company. My father, 'Joe Buck,' also thought he was 'tops'. A fond memory of mine is from Brandy's graduation in 2012 where Russ genuinely depicted the special trait of a man who truly loved his Family. You are in our prayers, Mike Buchanan and Family

Mary - Our deepest condolences to you, Brandy & Jeff. Our prayers are with you as I know how hard it is. I just lost my Mom Nov. 7, 2017. But to lose your husband and soulmate of 46 years would be even more devastating. Lew and I thought the world of Russell. He was a wonderful person to work with at the Union National Bank the eight years I was there. We were totally shocked to open the paper today. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Mary you probably don't remember me but I worked at Union Bank many years ago with Russ. He was so well liked and fun to work with. I moved away many years ago and lost track of my friends at the bank. You, your children and all your family will be in my prayers during this difficult time of sadness and loss.
