Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvell Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ed Balis presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Heard from Carl David White about Ruth's passing. So very sad to hear of this news. Remember visiting with her and Grandpa White and other family members. Keeping you all in our prayers.

My Aunt Ruth Jean maintained during her entire life an unusual sense of dignity. Not only was she noticeably intelligent, but her wisdom showed in all her daily actions, and in her warm and loving temperament. She was everyone's "favorite" because everyone felt so loved by her! Throughout her life, her inner goodness and saintly attitude was a constant and oh, how we all loved her for it! We had a large extended family and she was cherished by each one of us, simply because of how special we all understood she was. She was a rare treasure! She will be greatly missed by all of us who understood how blessed we were to know her. I always considered it to be an honor to be such a great person's niece! There is a special place in my heart for her that will forever be there. My love to her immediate family, I wish I could be there with you. All my love, Beverly Ruth Policano
