Family and friends may call at the Congregational Missionary Church, 8095 Hazelwood Avenue, Stonewood, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Sherman Goodwin presiding. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Shirley Ann Shingleton, 80, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, in a local nursing home in Clarksburg.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on January 10, 1943, a daughter of the late Roy Franklin and Pauline Vest Shingleton.
Shirley is survived by one sister, Dorothy Paugh and husband Robert of Freedom, PA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome Shingleton and Lawrence “Pickle” Shingleton; and one sister Pauline Hull.
Shirley was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School Class of 1961, and formerly worked for United Hospital Center. She was a member of the Congregational Missionary Church in Stonewood.
