Bradley Leonard Stutler, a cherished husband, devoted father, brother, friend, and master craftsman, was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on January 15, 1959, to the late Lehman Lyle Stutler and Esther McDella Stutler. He passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

A proud graduate of Liberty High School in Clarksburg, Class of 1977, Leonard honed his skills at United Technical Center, becoming an exceptional brick and block mason. His craftsmanship was not only evident in the structures he built but also in the home he lovingly constructed with the help of his father and brother, a testament to his skilled carpentry and dedication to family.

Leonard’s career was marked by his impressive expertise as a technician. He was renowned across the region as a sought-out John Deere technician, earning credits through countless hours at John Deere University. His reputation led him to a 22-year tenure at Leslie Equipment, where his talents were highly sought-after. Transitioning into the oil and gas industry, Leonard spent the latter part of his career as a supervisor over gas compressing stations for Crestwood Midstream, pioneering operations in Harrison and Doddridge counties. In his final professional endeavor, he served as an I&E technician for Antero Resources, continuing to demonstrate his unparalleled ability to “fix anything.”

Beyond his professional achievements, Leonard’s true passion lay in his family, particularly his beloved children, Dr. Holly Victoria Cooper (Jonathan) and Bradley Matthew Stutler. Married to his devoted wife, whom “he loved bunches” Dora L. Stutler, for 42 years, Leonard’s life was a testament to the love and commitment they shared since their union on October 20, 1984. Also surviving are his siblings; his cherished older brother, Bradin Lyle Stutler, and two sisters he loved very much, Angelia Donna Cochran (Tim) and Karen Elizabeth Grant (William “Tink”).

Leonard’s legacy is etched in the lives of his family and friends, special lifelong friends Scott and Kevin, as well as in the countless structures and pieces of equipment that bear his mark.

While his hands built many things, it was family that he cherished. Leonard’s life is a lasting reminder of the love of God, family, and a life of hard work. He felt blessed each and every day.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Adam Cheeseman presiding. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.
