From the days of Broadway standing on the corner to walking the halls of Notre Dame Lou was the best. So sorry for the loss of a great friend. We extend our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the Stumpo Family and their extended families.

We just got back home from Florida late Saturday night. Erin had told me about Louie and we had been praying for hin. So sorry for your loss, but no more pain and suffering. We know first hand your experience, it brings back memories of when our dad was burned in 1964. Keeping all the Stumpo family in our prayers for peace, comfort and God to fill the void in all hearts. In Christian love and prayers, Robin \"Payton\" Ward

Remember watching Lewie as a student at St. Marys , play basketball and later admiring him as a soldier. Little Notre Dame played with anyone! As life went on he was one of the nicest \'good\' guys I ever met, His grandson and my son became friends , his grandson reflected the best of Lewie and Linda and Jennifer and Scott. Our Lord wants him on His Team

I haven't seen Lou in over 45 years, but recognized his picture. He serviced the Kroger in Bridgeport that I used to work at. I remember to this day what a kind, good person he was. My condolences to the family. Lou made an everlasting impression on me.
