Goodbye Dad. I guess this is the only place I'll get to say goodbye and tell you what I need to say. You were my Moon, my Sun, my Stars and every single thing that lies beneath them. My entire Universe. I will never love anyone as much as I loved you. Ever. With every ounce of my body and to the very core of my soul. You were absolutely everything to me. I was Daddy's girl through and through, inside out, and upside down. Any person who was ever around won't hesitate to say there was nobody who loved you as much me. Wherever you were, I was, glued to your side. Nothing or nobody could pry me from your lap, or take me away from your side. God how I loved you! Sometimes I thought I would burst I loved you so much. When all the other kids would be outside playing, I would be inside, up on your lap. For hours upon hours. Exactly where I wanted to be, and where I was the happiest. You never begrudged me. You knew how much I loved you and you let me stay right there and included me. You would laugh, and beam with pride and joy, because nothing and nobody could get me away from you. I could never put into words how much you meant to me. Everyone knew it. Everyone knew you were mine. I loved you so much I didn't think it was possible to love someone as much as I did you I still do. You will always be everything to me. You would laugh and tease me because I clung to you incessantly. I would cry and my heart would break if you needed me to get down off your lap, even if just for a minute. If you went to the bathroom, I would lay outside the door and wait for you to come out. I ate, drank, and breathed you. I loved you so much, I still do Dad. That has never changed. You will always be who I love most. I'm still that little girl who worshipped you. And I'm so sorry things turned out the way they did. It all seems so senseless now. I wish I could have told you goodbye. To tell you that you never stopped being the love of my life. I hope you knew. I hope you never forgot. I will always be my daddy's girl. You will always be all mine. I hope you still love me. And know how very much I still love you. I hope with everything I have that we'll meet again one day Daddy. I hope I get to hear you sing to me one more time. I hope I get to see your smile, and your laugh when you tell me I'm a Daddy's girl. Because I never stopped. And I hope I get to hear you sing one more time "Melinda Lea, went to pee, didn't get back till a half past three" or tell me you're going to "Nunya" Keep singing Daddy. Wait for me. When I get there, tell me you knew I never stopped loving you with all my heart and soul. I love you. Goodbye for now, Daddy. I will forever be your baby.
