Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday, June 22nd from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Catholic Church, 317 East Main Street, Bridgeport on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Walt Jagela and Father Casey Mahone as concelebrants.

Mario Francesco Oliverio, 80, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born in San Giovannii in Fiore, Italy, on April 2, 1945, a son of the late Guiseppe Oliverio and Rosa Ruggerio Oliverio.
He was married on January 3, 1981, to Mary Ann Belcastro Oliverio, who resides at their home in Bridgeport.
Mr. Oliverio is also survived by three sons, Joseph Oliverio and wife Nicole of Bridgeport, Battista Oliverio and wife Ashley of Clarksburg, and Mario Francesco Oliverio II and his significant other, Anna of Hershey, PA; his daughter, Rosalba Nutter and husband Adam of Bridgeport; six grandchildren, Dominick Oliverio, Andrew Oliverio, Bella Oliverio, Amora Oliverio, Alexander Nutter and Liam Nutter. He also leaves behind his brother, Antonio Oliverio and wife Katherine of San Giovanni, Italy; his sister, Maria Jeovanna Oliverio of San Giovanni, Italy; as well as two nephews and one niece.
Mario was the owner and operator of Mario’s Barber Shop in Clarksburg since 1994, from where he recently retired. He started cutting hair at the age of 13 under the leadership of his Godfather, and at the age of 16 he also cut hair in France.
Mario was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Bridgeport. He enjoyed gardening and cooking, and homemade Ravioli was his specialty. He loved watching soccer during the World Cup, but above all he loved his family and most especially his grandchildren. Mario will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
