Ann Markovich, 96, of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Hutchinson, WV on January 24, 1923 a daughter of the late Luka Pavich and Angeline Veltri Pavich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Markovich, who died in 1989.
She is survived by son, John Thomas Markovich of Bridgeport with whom she made her home and his companion, Anne Hyde and little puppy, Cash, grandson, John Albert Markovich of Bridgeport, son, Mitch Markovich and wife Betty of Fairmont, WV, granddaughter, Michelle Markovich and great grandson, Joseph Bell; two sisters, Dorothy Cianfrocia of Fairmont, WV and Mary Stella Sparish of Columbus, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers Tommy and Stanley Pavich.
Ann was a homemaker and a Catholic by faith and she enjoyed holidays especially Christmas with the Festival of the Fishes and preparing for the holidays for family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling and shopping with her sisters.
There will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
