April Diane Riddle, 49, of Clarksburg passed away suddenly on Monday, June 29, 2020 in the United Hospital Center.

 

She was born in Morgantown on April 3, 1971, a daughter of Howard Riddle and the late Laura Elliott Riddle.

 

She is survived by her fiancé, Fred Rinehart; three children, Alisha Myers and her husband Steven of Salem, Julie Carroll and her husband John of Flemington and Taylor Rinehart and her boyfriend Brady Lott of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Kylie, Emalie, Bub, William and Feya; two sisters, Dawn Phares and her husband Steve of Mt. Clare and Ashley Wagner; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Sampson.

 

She was also preceded in death by one sister, Shawn Shisler; and one granddaughter, Kierstyn.

 

April was a strong woman and very protective of those she loved. She adored her grandchildren and was a shopaholic, especially online shopping. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and visiting the mountains and the beach. April was very proud of her daughters and their accomplishments.

 

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street on Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

 

In keeping with her wishes, April will be cremated following the visitation.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Amos Carvelli Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
