Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm where the funeral service will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Sherman Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Barbara Jean “Bobbie” Mihaliak, 88, of Stonewood, WV passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Crestview Nursing Facility in Jane Lew.
She was born in Clarksburg on December 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred Wetzel Griffith.
She married Cornelious “Joe” Mihaliak on July 5, 1955 who preceded her in death on June 11, 2021 after 65 years of marriage.
Surviving Bobbie are two sons, Daniel Mihaliak and wife Bing of Stonewood and David Mihaliak of Stonewood; one daughter, Debbie Malfregeot and Husband Tom of Clarksburg; six grandchildren, Jennilyn Mihaliak, D.J. Mihaliak, Stefan Mihaliak, Jonathan Tracy, Stacie Fortineax, and Kayla Lynch; seven great-grandchildren, Kydalyn, Maya Jane, Lily, Rosie, Willow, Marshall and Addison; her sister, Donna Oldroyd; a special niece, Jackie Snider; two close friends, Stella Farnsworth and Maryann Malcomb; and the many children she watched and cared for over the years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie is preceded in death by her two brothers, David and Jerry Griffith.
Bobbie attended Roosevelt Wilson High School and worked as a cutter for Eagle Convex. She was one of the founding members of Congregational Missionary Church and attended faithfully. She loved her family, and her passions were babysitting children and caring for animals.
