Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Steve Felder officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

Bernard Lee “Bernie” Marshall, 64, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019 following an extended illness.

 

He was born in Clarksburg on May 24, 1955, a son of the late Bernard L. and Gertrude E. Gabriel Marshall.

 

He is survived by his wife, Toni Davis Marshall; three daughters, Missy Davis and her husband Ray of Girard, OH, Mindi Criss and her companion Jeremy Compton of Clarksburg, and Michelle Morgan of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Josie Malfregeot, R. J. Davis, and Paige Morgan; three great grandchildren, Isaiah Criss, Leo Foster and Makenzie Foster; one brother, Jack Marshall and his wife Joyce of West Milford; and one brother in law, Richard Goldsmith of Rockford.

 

He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Shaina Criss; and one sister, Marsha Goldsmith.

 

Mr. Marshall was a 1973 graduate of South Harrison High School and was formerly a sales representative for Ram Tools. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, Horizon’s Church, and Christians United for Israel. Bernie was very pro Israel and was very happy when the embassy was moved to Jerusalem.
