Betty Sue Gum, 82, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 9, 1936, a daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy G. Wilson Hyson.
Her husband, Robert Gum, preceded her in death on July 4, 2010.
Mrs. Gum is survived by one son, Kenneth Gum and wife Michelle of Sardis, WV; one daughter, Andria Williams of Gregory’s Run; four grandchildren, Alisha Gum Hickman, Katlynn Gum, Brittany Williams and Justin Williams; and one great grandchild, Zoey Kenner.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Gum.
Betty worked in retail for Stone and Thomas retiring from Elder Beerman. She was a member of the Harrison County Senior Citizens.
