In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.   A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the gathering at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Jewell presiding.

Brian Scott Marsh, 49, of Fairmont, WV, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at his residence, as a result of a house fire.

 

Brian was born in Clarksburg, WV, on December 25, 1968, a son of William R. “Ron” and Cynthia Toothman Marsh of Good Hope.

 

He is also survived by one son, Coleton Marsh, a student at West Virginia University; one daughter, Delaney Marsh of Miami, FL; one brother, Michael Marsh of Mt. Clare; special cousins, Eddie Jewell and Kelley Reese-McNeish; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John W. Toothman and Elma Jane Toothman; and paternal grandparents, Ray Marsh and Lola Marsh.

 

Brian was a graduate of South Harrison High School Class of 1987, and a graduate of Fairmont State in 1991.  He was employed by Joe Asterino at Astro Buick GMC. He was Protestant by faith, and enjoyed trapping, drag racing, motorcycles, cooking, and above all treasured his children.

 

In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for the Children of Brian Scott Marsh Go Fund Me Account to assist in their educational expenses.
