Share your Memorial with Family & Friends

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your Dad, Grandfather, and/or friend. May God Bless you with His comfort and with warm and precious memories of a wonderful man! My family owned M. E. Vincent\'s Grocery in Simpson so I saw him weekly for many, many years. He was more than a delivery driver to us....he was a friend that we loved like family. When my Grandmother passed, he and your Mom/Grandma came and visited to pay their respects. When my Mom was sick and eventually passed in 2006, Cecil cried with me. No matter where we met - at the Mall, I knew where to look for him) he was always caring, friendly, and hopeful! I share these things so you know that he mattered and was loved by many. For his caring, humility, and gentle disposition. For his thoughtfulness and his pride in all of you. He always asked after my sister, brother, and all of our kids but he couldn\'t wait for me to ask about all of you - he loved you deeply. May God Bless...know you are in my thoughts & prayers, Lisa Vincent Stout

Cecil was the "milkman" at my mom and dad's grocery store in Simpson, WV, for many years. What a kind, gentle man he was. Even after the store closed and I saw him out and about he referred to me as "Vincent" which was my maiden name and the name of the store - M.E. Vincent Grocery. My sincere condolences and prayers for comfort for the family. Rest now Cecil - your work on earth is done!

My sincere deepest condolences go to the family. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers. Jesus said, referring to death, (paraphrasing) "Lazarus is not dead but he is a sleep", then comes the resurrection - second coming of Christ. This is the hope and love of Christ that we will truly see him again. He will always be in your hearts. God bless you all.
