Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 12:30 pm with Reverend George Bramble and Reverend Nathan Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Charles Robert “Charlie” White, 79, of Mt. Clare passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Barbour County on October 1, 1941, a son of the late Parl and Mary Casto White.
He was married to Shirley Velra Cutlip White on July 20, 1960, who preceded him in death on October 7, 2017.
Surviving are four sons, Rodney White and his wife Cindy of Falls Run, Randy White of Craigmoor, Mike White and his wife Wanda of Buckhannon Run and Ryan White and his wife April of Lenoir, NC; one daughter, Katrina Ewing of Mt. Clare; 11 grandchildren plus three extended grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Voie Perine of Hendersonville, NC and Pearl Bean of Butler, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Clarence White.
Mr. White was a 1959 graduate of Bristol High School and was retired from Lockhead Martin Production Quality Control with 40 years of service.
Charlie was a member of Herman Lodge No. 6 A.F. and A.M. and a member of the Quiet Dell United Methodist Church.
