Chelsea Rae Dodd, 29, of Hepzibah passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 following a motorcycle accident.

She was born in Clarksburg on September 26, 1993, a daughter of Leon and Rebekah Dodd.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her long-time boyfriend, Rodney Swiger, II of Hepzibah; two children, Saiah and Abigail Swiger; two siblings, Bonnie Dodd and Heidi Dodd, both of Hepzibah; nieces and nephews, Carly Burger, Jeremiah Hickman and Ashley Hickman; her step-father, Larry Dodd of Hepzibah; and her maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Chambers of Clarksburg.

She was also preceded in death by her niece, Sara Trippett.

Chelsea attended Liberty High School and was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a nurturer and caretake at heart and loved her job. Chelsea was feisty by nature, and more than anything she cherished her children.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Hardman Cemetery, Turkey Foot Hollow, Clarksburg.
