I had the immense pleasure of teaching Cody when he was in 7th and 8th grade. He was always so kind and gentle with a fun spirit and an unwavering work ethic. It may have been many moons ago, but he’ll forever be one of my “kiddos.” Sending you so much love and so many prayers for this tremendous loss. My heart is with you all.

Sweet, precious Cody. I am so sorry. I didn't get to spend much time with you, but I knew that was about to change when you fell in love with my best friend. We where so excited to hang out together this summer. But even before that, you won my heart when you came to the hospital the day after Amelia was born. In your muddy boots and with the biggest grin, you held out your arms and cradled that little pink blanket wrapped bundle like pro. You didnt take your eyes off her. Your face lit up and I told you "This suits you." You smiled back and said "I can't wait. You guys did good". Im so glad I took a picture. We will treasure it, and your memory, forever. We love you.
