Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 am with Reverend Del Parris officiating. Interment will be in the Rosemont I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

David Christopher “Trey” Wygal, 26, of Lost Creek passed away suddenly on Monday, January 6, 2020 at his residence.

 

He was born in Fairmont on March 5, 1993, a son of David R. Wygal of Lost Creek, and Christina Gray Wygal of Stonewood.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step mother, Kimberly Elliott Wygal; two sisters, Kaitlyn Mills of Lost Creek and Kaitlin Kidd of Summit Park; one brother, Jeremiah Johnson of Stonewood; his grandparents, Pamela Waugh of North Carolina, Linda Wygal of Buckhannon; and Richard “Butch” and Janet Elliott of Lost Creek; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jacob Gray Johnson; and grandparents, David L. Wygal, Esta Mae “Penny” Williams, and Gary R. Gray.

 

Trey was a 2011 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School where he played soccer, football, baseball and was on the drumline. He was employed at Republic Services of Fairmont as a diesel mechanic since graduating high school. He also loved motor cross, hunting, fishing, his rooster and chickens, and his cat Casper. Trey had a funny, sarcastic personality. He was always happy, and his smile was contagious.
