To the family, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss, Denny and I became friends during Army basic training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. We were both surprised when we were drafted in 1966. He turned that major life event into a distinguished career in law enforcement and a commitment for helping others. Denny was an outstanding soldier and citizen of the great town of Clarksburg, WV.
