Per his request cremation services will be held. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. where a memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. to conclude visitation with Pastor Bobby Bright presiding.

Edward K. Toothman Jr., 77, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at his residence.

 

He was born in Portland, Maine, on March, 13, 1941, a son of the late Edward Toothman and Marjorie Durloo Toothman.

 

Mr. Toothman is survived by his two daughters, Kim McCord and husband Jay of Bridgeport and Traci Toothman of Thailand; three sons, Edward K. Toothman, III, Michael Toothman and wife Sarah of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Matthew Toothman of Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Zach McCord, Lula Hanari, and Olivia Toothman; his brother, Daniel Toothman and wife Carla of Lost Creek, as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Ronald Toothman, Norman Toothman, Diane McCourt, and James Toothman.

 

Edward was a graduate of Bristol High School. He formerly worked as a land surveyor for thirty years before becoming the business owner of Tri State Welding Supplies. Edward loved music and shared his passion with his sons. He enjoyed coaching his sons’ team sports for many years. He was a fan of Raiders football. He will be remembered for being full of life, always fun and most of all loving.
