Obituaries

Eric Shawn Facemire, 51, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the United Hospital Center.

He was born in Charleston, WV, on June 3, 1967, a son of the late Leonard Eugene Facemire. He is survived by his mother and step-father, DeEtta Kay Moore Lott and Robert Lee Lott, both of Clarksburg.  In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his step-father, Lacy Lott.

He is also survived by his companion, Sherry Schrader; one son, Jason Leonard Facemire of Clarksburg; one grandchild, Jaeleigh Facemire; one brother, Philip James Lott and wife Kristi of Bell Meadows Estates and niece, Laci Marie Lott; one step-brother, Leonard Eugene Facemire,  II  of Hopemills, NC; two step-siseters, Jackie Foote of Fayetteville, NC, and Beverly Bostick of Avon Park, FL; and his former wife, Kristy Parker.

He was the former owner of Vision Home Improvements, and was in partnership with his friend Scott Cain, whom he thought of as a brother.  He and Scott were in business for 15 plus years.  He formerly worked at Finn Construction and had won several awards.

Eric formerly attended Summit Park Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid target shooter.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Following the visitation, he will be cremated.
