Family and friends will be received at the Clarksburg Baptist Church, 501 W. Pike Street Clarksburg, on Friday, June 5, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held privately at the church by the family on Saturday at 11:00 AM and will be livestreamed through Facebook at www.facebook.com/mdrewcrislip and www.facebook.com/annette.crislip.  Reverend Cyril Johnston will be officiating.  Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.

Ethan King Crislip, age 22, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 following a long struggle with addiction.  He was born in Clarksburg on July 30, 1997, a son of Drew & Annette Crislip.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers and one sister, Christopher King and his wife Alice, Cameron King and his wife Sarah, Duncan King, and Colleen Thornbrugh and her husband Cevin.

He is also survived by four nephews and four nieces, Nathan King, Desmond King, Rowan King, Benjamin King, Shelby King, Eliza King, Amelia King, and Betty Thornbrugh, along with several uncles, aunts, cousins & dear friends.

Ethan finished high school online, but proudly considered himself a member of the 2015 class of Robert C. Byrd High School.  He attended WVU and Marshall University.  Ethan loved music, was a Knight of the Golden Horseshoe, and was nationally ranked in speedcubing (9th in the USA in 2011) by the World Cube Association.  He was a member of the Clarksburg Baptist Church, having been baptized December 24, 2005.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in Ethan’s memory be made to the Clarksburg Mission at 312 N. Fourth Street, Clarksburg, WV 26301.
