Obituaries

Felix George “Peanut” Kovar, Jr., 60, of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Buckhannon, WV on March 15, 1958 the son of Felix George Kovar, Sr. of Clarksburg and the late Loretta Eskew Kovar.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Stirewalt Kovar whom he married on October 13, 2018 and resides at their residence in Clarksburg. Also surviving are two  brothers, Carl Kovar and wife Becky and Paul Kovar all of Clarksburg, WV; three sisters, Mae Kovar of Clarksburg, WV, Jenny Markley and husband John of Lost Creek, WV and Lola Nixon and husband Brian of Crooked Run; four nieces, Melissa Kovar, Cassidy Markley, Amber Kovar and Lilly Nixon; two nephews, Braden Nixon and Matthew Kovar; two great nieces, Addy Deloach and Marley Short; two step children, Adam Stafford and wife Taylor and Ronnie Carpenter and two step grandchildren, Grayson Stafford and Henley Stafford.

He was also preceded in death by a nephew, Ethen Markley.

He was a 1976 graduate of Liberty High School and was a former employee of Fourco Glass and Elkview Builders. He attended Glen Falls Baptist Church and loved to go fishing.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, WV on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryant Bailey presiding.

Interment will follow at the Kovar Family Cemetery.
