Frank James “Frankie” Second, 76, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on October 5, 1946, a son of the late Angelo Anthony and Lena V. Adams Second.

Mr. Second is survived by three daughters, Angela Chamberlain, Amber Shade, and Heather Vaught; two grandchildren, Andrew Chamberlain and Nick Chamberlain. Also surviving are one brother, James Second and his wife Rosemary of Sun Valley, special nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his faithful companion, Shadow.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jody.

Frankie was a graduate of Victory High School, Class of 1964 and a Laborer with Clinchfield Mines. He previously worked for Robinson Run Mine and was a Constable for Harrison County.

Frankie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was exceptionally good at tying flies. He was the owner and operator of Headwaters Fly Fishing Company and was known by his fishing buddies as the “Fly Guy.”

Honoring Mr. Second’s request, he will be cremated.

A memorial service will be announced at a later late.
