Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where Catholic Burial Rites will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Casey Mahone presiding. Interment will follow in the Flemington I.O.O.F. Cemetery where full military graveside rites will be accorded.

Frank Richard Costello, 88, of Lost Creek, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness.

He was born in Brownton, WV, on April 14, 1930, a son of the late Gaetino and Filomena LaCaria Costello.

He was married to Shelby Joan Marsh Costello on October 31, 1959, who resides at their home in Lost Creek.

Also surviving are two sons, Hugh Costello and wife Sandra of Fairmont, and Kyle Costello and wife Jill of Knightdale, NC; one daughter, Lori Costello Rigden and husband Keith of Westover, WV; six grandchildren, Jacqueline Costello, Ben Costello, Elias Costello, Daniel Costello, Presley Costello, and Charlotte Rigden; and one sister, Helena Brant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Kolbe Costello; four brothers, Hugo, Patsy, Silvio and Dante; and six sisters, Edith Barnes, Rose Caldora, Mary DeWolf, Delores Jones, Julia Kunic and infant Mary Costello.

Frank was a graduate of Philippi High School, and served our country as a veteran in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He retired as a salesman from Beatrice Foods, and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarksburg.
