Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am with Pastor Rick Owens presiding. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Franklin Carl Arnett, 70, of Summit Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Clarksburg on December 19, 1954, a son of the late Ora “Carl” and Mary Virginia “Jenny” Wamsley Arnett.
Frank is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane Thompson Arnett, whom he married on July 15, 1978. She resides at their home in Summit Park.
He is also survived by one son, Brian Franklin Arnett and his fiancé Jamie Herrod of Clarksburg; one daughter, Melissa Kay Arnett and partner Bryan Adams of Clarksburg; 10 grandchildren, Austin Arnett and fiancé Courtney Wilson, Logan Arnett, Abby Arnett, Anthony Tangari and fiancé Alexandra Duckworth, Issac Tangari, Gage Davis, Savanna Shepherd, Jayden Shepherd, and Lynsie Hubbard and husband Jordan; three bonus grandchildren, Camdon, Austin and Lexie Davis; six great-grandchildren, Adrian, Avri, Raelynn, Noah, Marcie, and Charleigh; two sisters, Donna Cabo and husband Ronnie of Mt. Clare, and Carol Nicholson of Clarksburg; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by one brother, John Arnett; one brother-in-law, Warren Nicholson; and one sister-in-law, Sharon Arnett.
Frank was a 1973 graduate of Victory High School. He joined the Army National Guard where he retired after 23 years as an E5. Most recently he worked as a carpenter with City Construction. In addition, Frank was a volunteer fire fighter with the Summit Park VFD.
Frank loved working with his hands, especially woodworking, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He attended Summit Park Baptist Church and would always lend a hand to anyone in need.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Michele Morgan for staying by their side when they needed her most; Care Partners, Amedisys Hospice, and the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center for their excellent care; and the Summit Park VFD for their love and support over the years.
