G. Kaye McCall, age 73, passed away peacefully June 18, 2019, surrounded by her daughters after a brief stay at Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Florida.

She was born June 3, 1945, in Weston, West Virginia, to Juanita Irene McCall and husband. She graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1963.

Kaye loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She adored her beloved black Pomeranian, Jasper. Her pastimes included reading, going to the beach and sitting outside on the porch swing drinking Bud Light.

Kaye worked at United Hospital Center as a registrar from December 12, 1977, until January 2, 2012. She initially sought employment to purchase her daughters a console color television and remained at UHC for 35 years.

Kaye is survived by her sister, Anita Lee Rader of Chester, SC. Kaye was very proud of her three daughters and their families, Tracie and Dave Wood of Navarre, FL, Cynthia and Ron Cutlip of Clarksburg, WV, and Amy Simpson of Clarksburg, WV. Kaye’s grandchildren were a joy in her life, Andrew and Kat Wood, Connor Wood, Hunter Cutlip, Camden Cutlip, Riley Cutlip and Jaron Mayes. Kaye was also delighted by her five great-grandchildren, Winter, Phillip, Nadia, Natalie and Jalen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Kaye was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita; brother, Joe E. McCall; uncle, E. Dent Spaur; nephew, David Morrison; and brother-in-law, Dorsey Rader.

Please join us in celebrating Kaye’s life Saturday, July 13, 2019, from 11 a.m. to noon with a service to follow at Amos Carvelli Funeral Home in Nutter Fort, WV. Interment will be at the Masonic Cemetery in Weston, West Virginia, alongside her mother, grandmother and grandfather.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Santa Rosa Animal Shelter in Milton, Florida, from where her cherished Jasper was rescued, or Pet Helpers of Fairmont, West Virginia.
