Gale Erving Adams, 67, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on July 8, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, following an extended illness.

 

He was born May 2, 1951, in Doddridge County to the late Artie Adams Louchery. He was the step son of the late Carroll Louchery. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Cell and Rosie Byrd Lowther Adams.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ruth Joann Jordan Adams; two sons, Timothy Adams of Clarksburg and Steven Adams and wife Amanda of Bridgeport; two daughters, Debra Oneill and husband Iran of Camp Pendleton, California and Amy Gay and husband George of Clarksburg; several grandchildren, Ashleigh and Paige Williams, Gale Austin Adams, and Dylan Gay of Clarksburg, Rian, Mackenzie and Noah Oneill of California, Preston Wells, Tucker, Lincoln and Logan Adams of Bridgeport, William Adams and girlfriend Pamela Johnson, Timothy Adams II and fiancé Caterina Strauss, Zachary and Brady Adams of Clarksburg; and soon to be great granddaughter, Oaklynn Grace Adams.  Also, his two fur babies, Zoey and Lady.

 

His wife, children and grandchildren were his life.  He loved working with cars and crossword books, but most of all he enjoyed taking walks and playing the Xbox with his grandchildren.

 

The family wishes to extend their special thanks to his doctors, Jeremy Williams and Paul Davis, WVU Home Health and Hospice.  And a very special thanks to his nurse Polly Harbert for the care she provided.
