Obituaries

George Paul Beezel, 66, of Hepzibah, WV, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the United Hospital Center.

George was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 18, 1958, a son of George Mason Beezel and Alice Mae Price Beezel.

George is survived by his companion of 30 years, Christine Lou Ashley, who resides at their residence in Hepzibah.

Also surviving are two children, George Cameron Beezel and companion Stephanie of Bowling Green, KY, and Saylor Rose Beezel of Hepzibah, Jessica Renea Ashley of Morgantown; grandson, Cameron Lee Beezel and his companion Kayla; and two grand dogs, Janus and Ava.

George was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1976, and worked in the Automotive Industry as a salesman.

George loved camping, Harleys, and taking his boat out fishing.  He enjoyed eating dinner with his dogs and cats and going to breakfast with his close friends to Ritzy Lunch.  Above all, he loved his family, especially his children.  He will be sadly missed by his family and all of those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Craig Ferrell presiding.

Per his request, cremation services will follow.
