Mr. H. Lynn Parsons, age 78 of Stonewood, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Stonewood, WV on February 22, 1941, a son of the late Cecil Clyde Parsons and Goldie Florence Fraley Parsons.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Winefred “Cookie” Miller Parsons, whom he married on October 14, 1966.
Also surviving is his son, Jeffrey L. Parsons and wife Ann Marie of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Parsons II and wife Tiffany, and Ashley N. Parsons Glass and companion Michael Cox; seven great-grandchildren, Abigail, Aiden, Mason, Jade, Maxum, Elias, and Ezra; and two step-granddaughters, Renzy and Rhyan Cochran.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, preceded in death by four brothers, Charles R. Parsons, Donald Keith Parsons, William P. Parsons, and James E. Parsons; and two sisters, Reva Yonavyak, and Grace Ashcraft.
Lynn was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked at Hope Gas Incorporated.
Per his request he will cremated with no visitation or service.
