Harold Francis Kelley, 83, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 following an extended illness.

 

He was born in Harper, WV on August 14, 1935, a son of the late Noah Paul and Nina Evelyn Houser Kelley.

 

He was married to Carol Emmagean Swick Kelley on August 2, 1958, who preceded him in death on July 4, 2018.

 

Surviving are one son, Harold F. Kelley, II and his wife Pam of Manteo, NC; one daughter, Christine Flanigan and her husband Bob of Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Nick Flanigan and his wife Stephanie, Andy Flanigan and his wife Erica, Ethan Flanigan, Matthew Kelley and his wife Felecia, and Kayla Kelley Barrick and her husband Travis; six great grandchildren and one on the way; and three brothers, Leon and Dennis Kelley of Parsons, WV and Ben Kelley of Seagoville, TX.

 

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Marian McIntire.

 

Mr. Kelley was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict from 1953 to 1956, and was a retired truck driver having worked for 11 years with Consolidated Freightway and 25 years with Dillie Motor Freight. He attended Glen Falls Baptist Church.
