Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Peace. Pastor Jerry Garrett will officiate.

Jack E. McKinney, Jr., 64, of Bridgeport, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Clarksburg on November 2, 1953, a son of Jack Eugene McKinney, Sr. who survives in Nutter Fort, and the late Betty Louise Sandy McKinney.

 

In addition to his father, he is also survived by his wife, Arline Rose Huffman McKinney, whom he married on August 21, 1989; one daughter, Mandy McKinney of Virginia; four grandchildren, Hunter Hayes and his wife Christina, Ashley Benson, Maryssa Benson, and Cody Benson; one great grandchild, Caden Hamrick; two step-children, Debbie Benson and her husband Barry of Clarksburg, and Dale Chambers and his wife Sarah of Shinnston; one sister, Donna Watson of Nutter Fort; his best friend Jim Kinney of Wilsonburg; and his favorite companion, Gizzmo.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, David and Roger McKinney.

 

Mr. McKinney was formerly employed with Anchor Hocking Glass Factory for 18 years, having retired from Precision Coil with 21 years of service.
