Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm with Reverend Peggy Williams officiating. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Cox will be cremated following the service.

James Allen Cox, 65, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022 in the United Hospital Center surrounded by his family.
He was born in Clarksburg on April 4, 1957, a son of the late Edgar and Anna Mae Smith Cox.
Surviving are his wife, Erma Cox; three daughters, Christy, Teliatha and Rebecca; four sons, James, Joshua, Allen and Eric; six sisters, Charlene Davis, Edith Booker, Sandra Cox, Gloria Turner, Karen Fritz and Donna Reynard; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jane Evans, Patricia Walker and Janice Cannon; and one brother, Daniel Cox.
