Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m.   Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Janet Sue Robinson Bowman, 60, of Lost Creek, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the United Hospital Center.

 

Mrs. Bowman was born in Youngstown, OH, on February 19, 1959, a daughter of the late James and Lorene Shahan Robinson.

 

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne Bowman, whom she married on October 17, 1981.

 

Also surviving are her daughters, Stacie Bowman of Dunbar, WV, and Sherrie Pilkington and husband Marc of Silver Spring, MD; her son, Zachary Bowman of Good Hope, WV; her granddaughter, Aisley Frick and one on the way; as well as multiple foster grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Robinson and wife Carol, and Joe Robinson and wife Chris; and sister-in-law, Lisa Robinson.

 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Robinson.

 

Janet was a graduate of Newton Falls, High School Class of 1977, and a homemaker.  She loved her dog Tiffie, enjoyed antiquing, and especially loved spending time with her family.
