Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery where full military graveside rites will be accorded.

Jeffery Edward Davisson, 54, of Indiana Avenue, Nutter Fort, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Clarksburg on February 4, 1964, a son of the late Edward Ray Davisson, and Joan Sterling Davisson who survives in Nutter Fort.

 

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by two sons and their mother, Brandon Davisson of Fairmont, Derek Silski of Morgantown, and Sheila Davisson of Fairmont; three brothers, Eddie (Tamara) Davisson of Philadelphia, PA, Mike (Kathy) Davisson of Wilmington, DE, and Chuck (Lisa Davisson of Nutter Fort; brothers-in-law Lynn Richards of Fairmont and Terry (Janice) Richards of Florida; sister-in-law Sharon (Dan) McCaugherty of Bridgeport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins

 

He was also preceded in death by one son, Christopher Silski.

 

Jeff was a 1982 graduate of Liberty High School and a United States Navy Veteran. He received a Realtor’s Certification from Salem College and an Associates Degree through the State Police Academy. For many years he worked as a contractor in addition to serving the public as a Police Officer for over 25 years.
