Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Bryant Bailey officiating. Entombment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

John Daniel “Danny” Stout, 81, of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born in Clarksburg on February 15, 1939, a son of the late Okey and Marie Edwards Stout.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Conley Stout; one son, John Daniel Stout, II of Wheeling; one daughter, Aleesa Mellinger and her husband Eugene of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, J. D. Stout, Julia Stout and Dylan Mellinger; one step son, Clark Rollins and his wife Heather of Fairmont; one step daughter, Jami Shelhammer of Clarksburg; and two step grandchildren, Trinity and Adair Rollins.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Stout.
Mr. Stout was a retired salesman with Fred Wilson Used Car Sales and was formerly a member of Clarksburg Lodge No. 482 B.P.O. Elks. He was Methodist by faith.
