Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jennifer Sayers officiating. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, which is a member of the Historic Clarksburg WV Cemetery Preservation Alliance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

John Paul Gallo, 79, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the United Hospital Center.

He was born in Baltimore, MD on May 2, 1945, a son of the late Frank and Mary Rose Gallo.

He is survived by one son, Frank John Gallo of Clarksburg and his companion Lana Solomon; two grandchildren, Juliann and John Mason Gallo; two siblings, Frankie Tonelli and her husband Michael of St. Augustine, FL and Mary Rose Cunningham and her husband Paul of Ormond Beach FL; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Joan Wilson.

Mr. Gallo was a 1963 graduate of Victory High School and a United States Army Veteran. He was the owner of John P. Gallo Inc. Trucking Company in Clarksburg. He was an avid lover of horses and classic cars.
