Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7 at 11:00 am with Pastor Doug Joseph officiating. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Joseph Patrick “Joe Pat” Wright, 46, of West Milford, passed away on July 4, 2018 at his residence following an 11 year struggle with heart disease. He was born in Clarksburg on March 16, 1972, a son of Robert Hickman Wright of Stonewood and Cheryl Ann Phillips Thomas of North View.

 

In addition to his parents he is also survived by six children, Tristan Andrew Wright of Morgantown, Nathaniel Kian Wright of West Milford and Jayden Patrick Wright of West Milford and their mother, Amy Noreen Miller Wright, Peyton Alexander Wright, Melanie JaneWright and Dakota James Wright and their mother and his companion, Lorinda Kaylee Gould; one sister Melissa Ann Murray of Nutter Fort and her children, Cory Alan Wright and Alexander Nicholas Murray; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his maternal grandmother, Peggy Minear of North View.

 

Joe Pat was a 1990 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School and was currently a meat cutter at Ryan’s Restaurant. Joe Pat was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. His passions included fishing, playing pool, and was a member of several area dart leagues. He was also an avid South Harrison football fan, having loved to watch his son play quarter back. Above all, he loved his family.
