Judith Ann Welch Teter, 76, of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Anmoore on February 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Frank and Christine Ball Welch.

She was married to Jackson T. Teter, Jr. on August 19, 1961, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2008.

Surviving are three children, Beth Limer and her husband Doug of Clarksburg, John M. Teter and his wife Rebekah of Morgantown, and Joe W. Teter and his wife Melissa of Bridgeport; four granddaughters, Casey and Ashley Limer, and Lorraine and Emma Teter; three grandsons, Joey, Zachary and Austin Teter and his companion Lindsey;great grandchild, Maddy Mazer; and one brother, Michael Welch of Anmoore.

She was also preceded in death by her infant son, Brian Roy Teter, and her daughter, Jennifer Lynn Pritchard.

Mrs. Teter was a 1961 graduate of Bridgeport High School and was formerly employed as a cook at Poppy’s and Washington Square restaurants. She was a member of the Anmoore United Methodist Church since she was 7 years old, where she was also a member of the Women’s Society, and was a member of the Harrison County Senior Center. She also enjoyed ceramics and scrapbooking.
