Judith Ann “Judy” Trevison, 85, of Mt. Clare passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at her residence.
She was born in Mt. Clare on February 2, 1939, a daughter of the late Clyde Mitchell and Gertrude Shears Gosilin.
She was married to Alfred P. Trevison on March 10, 1958, who preceded her in death on April 9, 2024.
Surviving are one daughter, Colleen Linger of Mt. Clare; two grandsons, William Linger and Keith Linger; three great grandchildren, K. J. Linger, Nathaniel Linger and Kaylee Linger; two bonus great grandchildren, Mileena Kendall and her husband John, and Logan Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Gaston.
Judy was a 1957 graduate of Lost Creek High School and a former member of the Alumni Association. She was also a member of the Mt. Clare, United Methodist Church, the Lost Creek satellite of the Harrison County Senior Citizens, The “Classie Lassies” Red Hat Club and the Mt. State Old Fashioned Square Dancers.
Judy was a dedicated wife, mother, aunt and Gommie. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, her grandsons and great grandchildren, family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the many memories made.
Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 am with Reverend Brian Plum officiating. Interment will be in the Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lost Creek United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 176, Lost Creek, WV 26385 or to the Mt. Clare United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 85, Mt. Clare, WV 26408.
