Karen A. Mullooly, 63, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Sunday May 5, 2024, at her home with family by her side following a brief illness.

She was born in Clarksburg, October 5, 1960, a daughter of the late Foster E. Yoho Jr. and Joan E. Yoho.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by loving husband William “Bill” Mullooly whom she missed dearly and is now reunited with and brother Chuck Yoho.

Left to cherish Karen’s memories include her son Chad Mullooly of Clarksburg, daughter Ashley and husband Chris Cutlip of Lost Creek, brother Jeff Yoho of Nutter fort, sister Jenny and husband Gary Clute of New Mexico, sister in laws Verr Hinkle of Buckhannon and Mary and husband Mike Bork of Mt. Clare. Five wonderful grandchildren who will miss their “Kitty” dearly and were Karen’s world: Caden and Dylan Mullooly of Clarksburg and Layla, Stella and Ellie Cutlip of Lost Creek.

Karen was all about her family, she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and wife to her husband whom she dearly loved and missed and was taken from us just as suddenly as she was. She gave everything within her to her children, grandchildren, husband and family alike. She was known as “Kitty” to them. It was not just her human family she embraced and cared for but all her fur babies through the years. Her last rescued furry companion, Rufus, was a loving, big brown eyed and floppy ears hound dog who never left her side. Rufus will be lovingly cared for by Karen’s family. The sudden loss of this strong, selfless and quiet, soft-spoken woman will forever be felt in our hearts and positively heard through our words and memories.

To respect Karen’s wishes she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
